- Created children's summer reading program, which nearly doubled the number of ypung patrons visiting the library.

- established wekly Wee Ones story time for 18-to 36-month-old children and Story Time for children ages 3 to 6; after one year, expanded to bi-weekly session to accommodate interested young readers.
